great product
I am so happy with my new range hood. It is sleek looking and is very quiet even on the highest cycle. It does a great job of venting cooking odors out of the kitchen. The work lights are great. I was not used to lights at the back but find they do not throw off as much glare as my old hood did.

Thin, Well-made, Little Noisy, Used LED Lights
Quality range hood is shortest (5") available, replaces old 6" model. Full surface filters are nice and washable. A little noisy at higher speeds. I found ecological satisfaction by replacing the 25 W halogen spots with nice 6 W LEDs which give more and whiter light. Looks good! Controls are right where they should be and operate with satisfying precise feel.

Does what it says on the box
Comprehensive fitting instructions are provided with this product and installation was relatively easy, although pre-cut vent opening was difficult to remove.
Hood works well although it is slightly noisier than expected.

Not dimensionally accurate
Its width measurement was supposed to be 30” The actual measurement was 29 1/2". Now I have a 1/4" gap on either side of the range hood. My wife said it looked good enough, now i have to live with it and see that gap every day. Totally disappointed!

Not great.
Definitely not a quiet fan, do not listen to the descriptions. Says it’s 1 sone, but it’s definitely not. Pretty dang loud sitting at 75 decibels on level one. Suction is pretty weak too.

Could be happier but satisfied enough to keep it..
This hood appealed to me because it was stainless steel and it did not have any sort of digital display. The last thing I want in my kitchen is yet another device with a clock on it. Although this hood can be set up as a recirculating vent, it does not have holes in it to set it up as a recirculating hood. Its really meant to be set up to vent outside the house which is what I wanted. Recirculating vents are a waste of money imo. I also wanted straight forward fan and light controls that were on the outside rather than up under it where you can't see them. The lights being at the back are ok but the housing around the lights are different from the pictures of the product. I would like to have LEDs instead of halogen bulbs but no manufacturer seems to be providing that option yet. I also liked the central location of the fan. Other manufacturers have the fan a bit offset. Also, the fan is metal and thats nice. The power cord for it came with a three-prong termination so an electrician was not necessary to wire it up. I did though have an outlet installed in the cabinet above the hood.
Things I didnt like about the hood: The threading in the holes for the screws that hold the inner barrier just behind the grease screens were stripped. After getting the hood hung, the screws didnt really screw down tight. Some really are just sitting in their holes barely holding the barrier in place. They could easily rattle out of place. Probably from some heavy handed fool at the manufacturing plant. Also, the inside of the hood has a lot of sharp edges and I sliced up my hand real bad by replacing the screws. While hanging this hood, I suggest wearing rubber gloves like what a lot of car mechanics use these days. There were also a lot of gaps around the fan housing that could have allowed air to escape rather than be channeled out the exhaust duct. I covered those over with high-temp metal tape. The stripped threads though are what really keeps me from being very happy with this product.
